They are ever so, One, though split in Two -

 

Mother and daughter whom none can pooh-pooh !

 

They often co- share their personal things ,

 

As if themselves are mutual belongings .

 

Looking alike, alike in taste and choice ,

 

And, strange, I hear them speak in the same voice .

 

While one drives, the other sits by her side,

 

As if the latter is the former's guide .

 

 

How nice if the mother be" Kahini "

 

In daughter's name, then, nothing be FUN-ny !

 

" Katha O Kahini " are Tagore's great ,

 

By literary standards at any rate .

 

I wonder, did Tagore visit Kharghar ,

 

He could just see his great was meant whom for.
