Onboard Pressure Testing of Immersion Suits

As per SOLAS, it's now mandatory to pressure test Immersion Suits every 3 years. But no-where it mentions that it is to be done by outside Workshop.

Still many are spending money on this by appointing outside Workshops for this simple job, which can be very easily done on-board. Please see below explanation with diagram, how it could be done on-board:

Many thanks Mr. Ashoke, for warning us all. Yes ..... this is obviously a very important aspect, which didn't occur to me at all. May be the author of the Blog, Mr. Rajesh can throw some light?
By the way, does anyone know whether ready-made kits are available in the market or how much does it cost?

Dear All,

Thanks Deva. But on one ship, the Class NK surveyor told us that the ship-made equipment is better & more practical than the market ones
