When I was just a little child, I had always fantasized about sailing the seven seas as a swashbuckling pirate, facing insurmountable odds in search of fame and fortune. I always dressed as a pirate every Halloween, I had three, full-grown parrots in my room and I used to wear an eye-patch around the house complete with a deep vocabulary of sailor slang until my mother can't take it any more. Maybe it was because I grew up with a four brothers and we always played pirates versus robots when we were young kids. We also loved the movie Pirates of the Carribean and I really wished I could sail with Jack Sparrow!

My infatuation with my imaginary crew and my beloved ship soon ebbed along with the tide of time. I outgrew my swashbuckling gear and replaced them with dresses, skirts and tank tops as I matured and went to high school. Now instead of playing make-believe with my brothers, I hang out with my friends and as I started in the university, the wide ocean and its challenges gave way to dance floors in clubs and discos.

Just when I thought that my love affair with the sea and its faceless cretins would burn out like the sun setting in the flaming horizon, I met the captain that would man my ship called life. He is a responsible young man, a fresh graduate from the Navy. He is very kind and he honors God, country and his family above all else. He is the most decent and gentle man that I know and we fell in love the first time we met. We will soon get married on board his ship before he and his crew sail out for advanced training somewhere in the Pacific. Now when I am not contributing to essay writing services and studying for exams, I write my fiancee and he shares wonderful stories about his adventures in the ocean with me. I guess I'm not that old to relieve my childhood fantasy!

Seems like a real life fairy tale. Incidentally I am also a big fan of the Pirates Of The Carribean movie series. And again I am married to a sailor myself and have sailed the high seas. There were definitely adventures, but not so much as like those in the movies. And frankly speaking I am not sure I would enjoy yukky gooye jelly fish type things and people around me.  The adventures on board are real and thrilling. Hope you find them like I did when you finally sail out with your Prince Charming.

Wonderful story ......... so you mean that you searched & fell in love with a mariner because you thought your passion for sea is fading out?
And by the way, may there be excitement, but now-a-days, we hardly see any adventures on-board.

What do you say?
